Science and Engineering Building I is just like a maze. It does not only have complicated stairs and flow but also the square looking design often confuses people and makes them think "Hmmm? Using four hallways to square out a plaza in the center for public space. On one hand is representing the coherence of college of Science and Engineering, on the other hand, is to define the common entrance and activity space.

Once stepping into the building, the square shape plaza is a closed plaza for all of the departments to share. It is for students to hang out, to chat, sometimes if needed, it can also be a place to hold big events. Walk inside deeper, you will see an atrium garden with a quiet vibe, go ahead and take the stairs up, you can elegantly enjoy your time of surrounding by woods.
In conclusion, the Science and Engineering Building I has widely used the element of "square" to express the precision and rationality of the college.
